I have recently set up a free account on LibrayThing.com, and was wondering if/how others use this kind of "what's on my bookshelf" service. So far I have only added things on to it that apply to my SCA life, but am thinking about making this more representative of my personal library.

Thanks!

i catalogued ALL the books I own in library thing, probably should have catalogued all of the audiobooks I own too
i use library thing basically as a reference when i am buying books somewhere - to check to see if i already have the book so i don't buy a duplicate copy

i also like library thing for its connection factor, i took this weird off the wall anthropology class studying australian aboriginies (no i never learned how to spell) and the cool thing is that in library thing you can find out who else also has that book

granted the connection factor with library thing only really works when people catalogue their books ON library thing...
