Are any libraries out there using the Unshelved Book Club comics (the Sunday series) http://www.unshelved.com/bookclub.aspx
as a resource for publicizing and/or suggesting books?

No...but that's a darn good idea.

Personally, I love their "book club" where you weren't allowed to tell people it's a book club. I'm seriously thinking (when I have space in my schedule) starting a romance readers book club kind of like that. Our board (two members of which want to join) have already named it "Guilty Pleasure".

What a great idea!! Romance readers of the world unite! :)

I love the Unshelved Sunday book reviews, & often forward them to friends who I think will enjoy the books. And I personally cannot wait to read King City that was featured this week.
